PlayDates FAQs

Answers to the most commonly asked questions out Doggy PlayDates.

🐾 Billing Cycle

Memberships run on a 4‑week billing cycle. This aligns with how we plan and allocate PlayDate spaces, keeps payments consistent, and ensures your dog’s reserved spot is secured for the upcoming 4‑week period. Because a year has 52 weeks, this means there are 13 billing cycles per year rather than 12 — it’s not an extra charge, just how 4‑week billing works across a full calendar year.

Attendance, Absences & Holidays

🐾 Weekly Sessions

Your dog’s PlayDate space is reserved specifically for them each week. Because that space is held regardless of attendance, sessions cannot be carried over, refunded, or transferred. This applies to holidays, illness, and any other reason.

Illness, Seasons & Veterinary Procedures

🐾 Illness or Injury

Sessions missed due to illness or injury are non‑refundable and cannot be carried forward. Membership continues during any absence because your dog’s space is still being held.

Behaviour & Suitability

🐾 If Bloomingtails Requests a Break

Occasionally, a dog may need a temporary break from PlayDates — for example, due to behaviour changes, confidence issues, or testosterone‑driven behaviours in entire males. If we recommend a break, your membership will be paused and resumed when your dog is ready, without a new setup fee.

Changes & Cancellation

🐾 Cancelling Your Membership

You can cancel your membership at any time with written notice. We require 14 days’ notice before your next billing date. If less than 14 days’ notice is given, one further 4‑week billing cycle will be charged.

Your membership will end at the end of your final paid billing cycle. Unused sessions within a billing cycle are non‑refundable.

Payments & Direct Debit

🐾 Cancelling Your Direct Debit

Cancelling your direct debit does not cancel your membership. Any amounts due within your notice period or remaining billing cycle will still be payable.

Bloomingtails reserves the right to recover outstanding balances using stored payment details. Attendance may be paused immediately if a direct debit is cancelled.
